Relocation Information

J&A has been hired by Camber Property Group to provide relocation services for residents affected by renovations at Linden Plaza. This includes packing and moving support, as well as assistance accessing available financial incentives while you are placed in a temporary unit.

J&A will meet individually with each household to conduct an assessment. Every household will be assigned a dedicated case manager and relocation specialist to help prepare for the move.

Yes. All residents must temporarily relocate while their apartment or townhome is being renovated. J&A will guide you through the process and provide relocation assistance.

Each renovation phase takes approximately 6 months. You will be notified in advance when work is scheduled for your area.

Yes. J&A will send advance notices at 90, 60, and 30 days before renovation begins. If you have questions or concerns about timing, contact your relocation coordinator or building manager.

You will remain in your temporary unit until your apartment is ready. J&A will keep you updated on any delays as soon as they are known.

Yes. All apartments will be inspected for safety before residents return.

No. Residents will not have access to their apartments during renovation. Once the work is complete, you will be invited to tour your unit before moving back in.

Your household will be matched to a temporary unit based on an in-unit assessment. The assessments consider accessibility needs, health needs, household size, and any other relevant circumstances.

No. Unit assignments are based on your households size and occupancy needs. However, incentives may be available if your household is placed in a smaller unit.

No. J&A will help move your belongings into your temporary unit.

Yes. J&A will arrange walkthroughs of both your temporary unit before you move out and your renovated apartment before you move back in.

All temporary relocations will take place within the Linden Plaza development. The existing Linden Plaza pet policy will remain in effect.

Yes. J&A will coordinate packing and moving services at no cost to you. If you need help disposing of large items, J&A can assist with that as well.

Yes. J&A will provide packing materials, packing support, and moving services at no cost to your household.

No. All belongings must be removed from your unit before renovation work begins.

Yes. You may place items in storage for the duration of your relocation. Please note that stored items will not be accessible while you are in your temporary unit.

Report any damage to J&A within 7 days of the move. All claims will be reviewed and handled on a case-by-case basis.

No. Mail will continue to be delivered to your original building. You can pick it up from a designated temporary mailbox that will be built in front of your home building.

No. Your rent will not increase as a result of renovations. Your rent stays the same both during your time in the temporary unit and when you return to your renovated apartment.

Utilities will remain in your name and be transferred to your temporary unit. Camber will cover any transfer fees, but you will remain responsible for your regular monthly bills and any existing balances.

Yes. All relocated residents have a right to return to their original unit.

Yes. Each head of household will review and sign a temporary move agreement that outlines the details of their relocation.
