In addition to regular town hall meetings hosted by ownership, LindenPlazaBK.com will be kept up the date with announcements and updated throughout the construction project.

The renovation of apartments at Linden Plaza will include the following:

• All new plumbing
• Upgraded heating distribution system
• Remodeled kitchen
• Remodeled bathroom
• New flooring
• New light fixtures

The renovation of Linden Plaza is planned to take 4 years. Construction formally began in 2025 and is scheduled to be completed in 2029.

In-unit renovations are expected to take 8 months.

Due to the nature of the renovation work in each apartment, residents cannot occupy their apartment while the work is being done. Every resident must temporarily relocate while their apartment is under renovation.

The comprehensive renovation of Linden Plaza will encompass all residential units and common areas. Plumbing infrastructure will be fully replaced, and a decentralized hydronic hot water heating system will be installed. Building facades, terraces, will be repaired and all roofs or replaced. Structural repairs will be made to the parking garages, plaza deck and supporting columns.

Linden Plaza has dedicated security officers on site 24-hours a day. Part of the renovation project includes the installation of site-wide closed-circuit cameras and access controls.

HPD approved a (BBRI) Budget Based Rent Increase for Linden Plaza that went into effect on 7/1/2025. Residents were sent a Rent Concession Agreement (RCA) as part of their 2025 leasing/compliance package. The RCA ensures existing residents continue paying the Schedule A Mitchell-Lama rent (the rent rates prior to the BBRI) during construction.
